Taranga
Also known as: Taranga Hill · Tarangaji
The Ajitnath temple on Taranga hill was built in the twelfth century under the Solanki king Kumarapala, and is one of the finest surviving works of Solanki temple architecture — tall, austere on the outside, and extraordinarily worked within. The hill is a siddhakshetra, quieter and far less visited than Shatrunjaya, which is much of its appeal.
