Using the site
- Do I need an account?
- No. Everything on this website is readable without an account, without a login and without the app. There is nothing gated.
- Is it available in Hindi and Gujarati?
- Yes — every page, in all three languages. Use the language control in the header or the switcher in the footer; it keeps you on the same page rather than sending you back to the home page.
- Why does a listing say “Not recorded”?
- Because we do not know, and we will not guess. That label most often appears against a tradition — a derasar whose sect no source stated. A guessed sect is worse than a missing one, so it stays blank until somebody who knows tells us.
Listings and corrections
- Something about my derasar is wrong. How do I fix it?
- Tell us through the contact form, choosing “Correct a listing”, or through the contribute form. A person reads it. Corrections from an institution about itself are made without argument.
- How do I get my temple or sangh listed?
- It is free and it takes one message. The institutions page sets out exactly what you get and what we will ask you.
- Why is there no phone number for this tirth?
- Because we could not find one that we could stand behind. Most tirth trusts are not online, several of the websites that circulate are dead, and we will not publish a number we have not seen at a source we can name. If you know it, the tirth’s own page has a block asking for it.
Panchang and religious content
- Your tithi does not match my temple’s calendar.
- Then your temple’s calendar is right. The panchang here is computed astronomically and is deliberately not a Jain tithi: each tradition edits a base panchang by its own rules, and those rules differ. The panchang page explains this at the top, before any number.
- A page about a ritual says something I know to be wrong.
- Please tell us. Every page in the panchang and gyan sections carries a “tell us if this is wrong” block, and the pages that rest on a disputed source carry one directly beside the disputed passage. We correct it and credit you.
The app
- When is the app coming?
- We are not going to give you a date we cannot keep. The app carries the member directory, the area groups, Awaz and the business network. The website is not waiting for it — everything here works now.
Privacy
- Is my family in the directory on this website?
- No. No family record is on this website, in any form — not searchable, not partially, not as counts. The family directory is an app feature behind a login, and the community pages explain why.
- How do I have something about me removed?
- Write to us and it comes down. We do not ask you to justify it and we do not require you to prove who you are for a removal of your own personal contact details. The data deletion page sets out the process and the timelines.

For a formal complaint about content on this site — rather than a question — there is a named Grievance Officer with a published address and stated timelines, as India's IT Rules 2021 require.
