A derasar (Gujarati) or mandir is a Jain temple with consecrated idols, where murtipujak Jains perform darshan and puja. Digambar temples show unclothed idols with downcast eyes; Shwetambar idols are adorned and have inlaid eyes. Both are Jain temples — the difference is tradition, not rank.
