There are no vacancies to advertise and no salaries to quote. There is a long list of things that will not get done unless somebody does them, and every one of them is a few hours rather than a commitment.
This is volunteer work
Jain Waves is not a company hiring staff. Nobody draws a salary from it. If that changes we will say so here rather than quietly post a job advertisement.
What is actually needed
- City coordinators — one person in a city who will verify the derasar timings we have published for it, and tell us what is wrong. An afternoon, once.
- People who will make the pedhi telephone calls. Most tirths on this site have no number because nobody has rung the trust and asked for one. This is the single most valuable thing anyone can do here.
- Translators for Hindi and Gujarati. The site is written in all three languages, and a native reader will find awkwardness a careful writer cannot.
- Photographers. Every photograph on this site is a freely licensed one from someone else. A derasar photographed by somebody who worships in it is a better photograph.
- Anyone who reads Gujarati and has a printed vidhi at home. There is at least one text on this site we could not obtain in Gujarati script, and it is named on the page that needs it.

We hold 528 places. 383 of them we cannot even place in a town, and there are 4 sthanaks in the whole directory. None of that is fixed by more research — it is fixed by someone who knows a trustee.
