It is a siddhakshetra: by tradition Ram, Hanuman, Sugriva and ninety-nine crore munis attained liberation here. The modern Rishabhanatha statue carved into the rock face is among the tallest Jain images anywhere, and is what most first-time visitors come for.

The climb, and what to expect
A long stepped climb to the saddle between the two pinnacles, then separate ascents to Mangi and to Tungi. Doli bearers are available. This is a full day on the hill, not a stop on the way to somewhere else.
